Made with love, Made to Last.

Our Process

At Wolf Workshop, we accept a limited number of commissions each year alongside producing our in-house design collection.

Commissioning a piece of furniture may seem like a luxury and may not be the most affordable option, but for those who choose to do so, it is a truly magical experience.

A commissioned piece allows every detail to be meaningful and fully personalised. You become part of the story behind the furniture as it becomes a cherished heirloom—one to treasure and pass down through your family for generations to come.

Initial Chat

The process for each commissioned piece of furniture begins with an initial consultation, as we find this to be the most effective method for fully understanding your requirements.

At this stage, our objective is to establish a clear understanding of your expectations and aspirations for the commissioned piece. We will discuss its intended function, aesthetic preferences, dimensions, and the location it will occupy upon completion. This consultation can be conducted via telephone, video conference (such as Teams), or in person where feasible.

Design & Material

Following our initial consultation, we will create a visual sketch and technical drawing to provide you with a clear representation of the proposed piece. This allows you to review and approve the design before we proceed. Once the design is finalised to your satisfaction, we will move on to selecting materials and discussing finishing options.
